I bring people together from all across this land, forming small, face-to-face, psychologically-safe groups so that we can overcome fear and resistance to differences, increasing empathy in our brains, with the facilitated power of storytelling!
Only then shall we be able to offset political polarization so that we can find solutions to our problems.

The StoriesBuildBridges™ experience offers practical tools, guided reflections, and psychologically safe storytelling practices designed to help people move from overwhelm toward steadiness, insight, and constructive action.

A PERSONAL NOTE
For more than two decades, I have worked as a therapist, educator, and facilitator helping people navigate conflict, grief, change, identity, and relationships. My doctoral work at Emory University focused on storytelling, trauma, and transformation, while years of group facilitation and systems-based training deepened my understanding of how fear and overwhelm shape human behavior.
Across political differences, faith backgrounds, generations, and communities, I have watched people struggle with the same underlying questions: How do we stay connected to ourselves and each other when the world feels fractured? How do we move forward without losing our humanity?
The StoriesBuildBridges™ platform, workbook, and journal grew out of those experiences and concerns. Many people feel emotionally exhausted right now. Some feel trapped in cycles of outrage, anxiety, helplessness, or isolation. Others feel afraid to speak honestly, unsure where belonging still exists, or uncertain how to engage across difference without losing relationships, stability, or hope.
I wanted to create a guided process that helps people slow down, reflect, regulate emotionally, reconnect with their values, and engage in more grounded, thoughtful conversations. Storytelling has the power to help people make meaning out of confusion, reclaim perspective, and rediscover resilience, creativity, and courage.
I believe solutions can still emerge when people learn how to listen differently, to think more clearly, and to reconnect with the deeper values that hold relationships and communities together.
